Are there any health effects expected from the residues found?
Screening assessments were done for all residues sought. 1 of the residues found gave intakes above the Acute Reference Dose (ARfD). A detailed risk assessment (2 pages, 66 KB) concluded that an effect on health is unlikely.
When will the Pesticide Residues Committee formally consider these results?
The Pesticide Residues Committee have seen these results and will discuss them at their meeting in October 2009.
The Committee will discuss the results for Quarter 3 (July to September) 2009 as a whole at their meeting in January 2010.
