Are there any health effects expected from the residues found?
Screening assessments were done for all residues sought. None of the residues found gave intakes above the Acute Reference Dose (ARfD) or Acceptable Daily Intake (ADI).
When will the Pesticide Residues Committee formally consider these results?
The Pesticide Residues Committee have seen these results and discussed the results at their meeting on 28 January 2009.
The Committee will discuss the results for Quarter 4 (October to December) 2008 as a whole at their meeting in May 2009.
