Environmental fate & behaviour training workshop – compilation of environmental fate and behaviour submissions for product approvals
PSD will be holding a training day on the compilation of environmental fate and behaviour submissions. This will be held at our offices in York on January 29th 2008 . The full one-day course will provide an introduction to the preparation of an environmental fate submission for product approvals under the Control of Pesticides Regulations (COPR) and for product authorisations under the Plant Protection Products Regulations (PPPR).

Due to the decision by the Standing Committee on the Food Chain and Animal Health, for the non-inclusion of carbosulfan and diuron in Annex I of Directive 91/414/EEC, 3 professional products containing carbosulfan, 19 amateur products containing diuron and 30 professional products containing diuron will need to be withdrawn from the UK market to comply with the EC decision.
