This is a list of Regulatory Updates on MRLs issues from 2008 onwards. The list does not include all Regulatory Updates which have dealt with MRLs in this time period, since some of those issued are no longer relevant. This list is intended as a guide to current issues. Regulatory Update 15/2009

New approvals for some uses that were revoked as a result of new MRLs in EC Regulation 396/2005

A follow up to regulatory Updates 22/2008 and 28/2008 which gave details of the uses revoked following the introduction of the new MRLs regime under EC Regulation 396/2005. Several uses have now been re-instated thus creating the need for a new Regulatory update.

Regulatory Update 29/2008

Sulphur residues and Regulation 396/2005

Sulphur is listed in Annex III of Regulation 396/2005 with a range of temporary MRLs for various crop commodities, including 50 mg/kg for tomatoes. It has come to PSD’s attention that residues above these levels have been found in both treated and control crops of tomatoes.
