Where is the Chemicals Regulation Directorate?
The Chemicals Regulation Directorate (CRD) have two offices - one in Bootle and the other in York.

How Do I Get To the Chemicals Regulation Directorate Offices in York?
We are within easy walking distance of the city centre and the railway station. We are also within easy access by car and from the International airports at Manchester and Leeds Bradford.
Travelling by Car
We are in York which is easy to find from the motorway.
If you are travelling North on the M1 or A1, you will come to the new intersection with the A64 at junction 45, which is approximately 15-20 minutes away from the city via dual carriageway. Then enter the City via the A1079 junction Grimston Bar turning. - If you are travelling South on the A1, you will also leave the motorway at Junction 45, the A64 intersection. Then enter the City via the A1079 junction Grimston Bar turning.
- If you are travelling from the West on the M62, join the M1 northbound until you reach junction 45 the A64. Then enter the City via the A1079 junction Grimston Bar turning.
You can also get to York by the A19 (the Doncaster to Thirsk road), the A1079 (the Hull to York road) and the A166 (the Bridlington to York road) routes into the city.
Frequent Park and Ride bus services (every 10 minutes) operate into the city centre from sites on the City's outer ring road.
Car Parking at Kings Pool
There are public car parks within ¼ mile of the site. The nearest one being at the Sainsbury's "Foss Bank" car park (which charges £2.00 for 2 hours) or the City of York Car Park through the same entrance (charge is £0.70 per hour)
Travelling by Train
York is on the East Coast mainline. It takes less that 2 hours to get to York from London, Kings Cross. Direct rail services also run from York to many of the UK's main regional centres.
We are about a 15-20 minute walk from York station through the city centre.
Taxis are available outside the station and the journey to CRD takes about 10 minutes.
Travelling by Plane
Leeds Bradford Airport is a 1 hour drive from York.
Manchester Airport is a 2½ hour drive from York. There is also a direct rail link between York and Manchester International Airport and trains run every half hour during the day.
