Conditions of Use
Evaluation documents for those plant protection products and biocides first approved or reviewed under the Control of Pesticides Regulations 1986 (as amended) (COPR ) are made available under regulation 8(4) of those Regulations. These Regulations requires those viewing these documents not to make any commercial use of them nor, unless authorised in writing by Ministers, to publish any part of them. Any breach of this requirement would be a criminal offence under COPR and where commercial interests are involved under civil law.
Evaluation documents also exist for some plant protection products first authorised or reviewed under the Plant Protection Products Regulations 2005 (as amended). These documents were made available under regulation 9 of the Plant Protection Products (Basic Conditions) Regulations 1997. These too are made available on the understanding that anyone viewing these documents does not make any commercial use of them nor, unless authorised in writing by Ministers, to publish any part of them. Any breach of this requirement would, where commercial interests are involved, be an offence under civil law.
