Products Containing Pheromones or other Attractants

It has come to our attention that a number of products are currently being marketed containing pheromones or other attractants. Products marketed for use as traps are pesticide products and require an approval by the Pesticides Safety Directorate (PSD) before they can be marketed. Unless combined with an insecticide, products intended solely to monitor insect populations do not require an approval.

To market a pesticide product without an approval is a prosecutable offence.
