Replacement of the Long Term Arrangements for Extension of Use (LTAEU) for Non-Edible Crops

Further to Regulatory Update 26/2006, issued on 19 December 2006, PSD has considered the issues raised by interested parties and met with a number of key representatives from the various crop sectors covered by these Arrangements on 8 November 2007. Following this, a process for transferring the remaining non-edible extrapolations into Specific Off-Label Approvals (SOLAs) has been agreed and full details can be found in the attached procedures document.
The next stage is for PSD to gauge the size of this exercise and we are asking for information on the numbers of products involved. If you use these Arrangements, we would be grateful if you could supply us with a list of products and crop combinations that you currently use and would wish to see transferring to a SOLA approval (in the format detailed in Appendix 1 of the procedures document. You will need to complete an application form for each product you require).
