Products to be withdrawn from the market containing thiodicarb
Background
Information Update 03/07 provided notification of the future withdrawal of thiodicarb from the plant protection products market. This Information Update now provides the dates for withdrawal of thiodicarb products.
The EC Decision (2007/366/EC) was published on 25 May 2007. The dates for withdrawal of plant protection products containing thiodicarb are given below.
The UK has five professional products that must now be revoked in order to withdraw these products from the market and comply with the EC Decision.
Professional Products:
Approval for advertisement, sale, supply, storage and use will be revoked / withdrawn from 25 November 2007 for Approval Holders and their agents.
Approval will be given until 25 November 2008 for the storage by any person and for the advertisement, sale, supply, storage and use by persons other than the approval holder or their agents.
